Brighter Days On The Horizon

Freycinet National Park, Tasmania, Australia

I had the privilege of staying at an eco lodge whilst in Freycinet National Park, 'Edge of the Bay Resort'. This meant that the beach was only a few seconds walk from the lodge. This photo was taken from the beach adjacent to the lodge, looking out over the Great Oyster Bay. I was told by many who looked at this photo that it made them feel 'happy'... lol. I can see what they mean, and perhaps it has that effect on you also. I quite like the bright and warm colours cast by the late sun, aided by a sunset filter. It creates a very lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Hope you like it!

the sky is very bright... but it somehow fits the feeling in this photo perfectly... brings light and optimism :) well done

This is beautiful. Perhaps a bit to bright and the colours seem a little off?, but it all adds to the magical feel of the place. A great photo!
