An amazing place, was lucky that there was noone else there as i'd heard that it is quite a popular area for the local photographers. Went on a ridiculously windy day, which knocked my tripod over with the camera attached - lucky nothing broke, but I learnt my lesson to hang heavier stuff off it. Was bloody freezing out there too... thermometer on my car read 5 degrees celcius...
very nice, place looks like and old sacred space, and the colours make it absolutely divine. i was wondering how you could get so cold but then i guessed you must have been "down there" anyway, it was 5C when we were on the mountain few days ago (and foggy) but we are in the middle of the summer

the clouds frame the tree perfectly. am loving all the curves and leading lines in the image. i really don't know how you location kids do it. it's so easy to look at a pretty landscape but to take one is such a diff thing.
