I can't really put my finger on it, but this is so touching for me. Is it the fact that it's framed, hidden if you may, by the surrounding trees, out sight, to be alone? Is it the fact that it shines single-handedly amongst the dullness of it's ambient? Be it what it may, it tells a story, if you only take the time to look at it.

My reasoning might be a long shot, but I can't change the fact I love this photo. :shrug: :+fav:

firstly, love the square format and graininess to the pic, adds a little something
i like the framing too, the dark branches just direct your attention to the fragility of the flower petals
